Swainby Village Hall Facilities

The building is on two levels with access to the main function hall serviced by  stairs and a stair lift for those with mobility problems.

The ground floor of the building includes an entrance hall where a village lending library can be found along with toilet facilities.  The ground floor also includes two meeting rooms. 

A small meeting room approximately 10 meters X 10 meters is ideal for small groups up to about 15 people.  The room also doubles as a post office on Wednesday mornings.

The larger of the meeting rooms approximately 10 meters x 15 meters is perfect for larger groups of up to 50 people.  This room has the provision of audio visual equipment and the whole building benefits from Wi-Fi.

A modern kitchen is also situated on the ground floor.  This kitchen is provided with a modern range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and hot water.

The main upstairs function room can accommodate up to 100 people theatre style and approximately 70-80 people seated at tables.  The room is approximately 30 meters x 15 meters and comes with a maple wood floor covering.  The focal point of the room is raised stage area, which is approximately 10 meters wide x 5 meters deep.  A small anti-room services the stage area, which serves as an ideal preparation area for artists.
